Experimenting with the reform of a young criminal’s mind, a psychiatrist (Alexander Knox) takes Frank Clements (Dirk) into his own home. However Dr. Esmond’s wife (Alexis Smith) fatefully takes a fancy to the handsome young charmer. Dirk’s first collaboration with Joseph Losey and Dirk was the precursor to a memorable sequence of films in the ’60s.
